Femke Odekerken, Project Management Typically Femke: “I’m still gaining new experience.” She’s been with Summit now for five years and still finds her job satisfying. “Lately, I’ve been gaining new experiences in projects implementing new technologies.” She likes the team atmosphere at Summit, but finds it hard to explain in one sentence what the company does. “Trainees, who I show the ropes, often do their first exhibition before they exclaim, ‘Ah, that’s what Summit does!’”

Martijn de Leij, IT Typically Martijn: “All right, give it here, we’ll find a solution.” Martijn writes registration software and provides hands-on support during events. “You can take your time fixing a simple glitch in a website, but you simply can’t keep 200 people at an event waiting.” He is pragmatic and versatile. “My attitude is generally, ‘All right, give it here, we’ll find a solution.’ And yes, I do like to stick my nose in everything.” He likes the dynamics on site. “At an event, you immediately see the results of your work.”
